History Detectives: World Research Class
Grades 3-6 - Bozeman Public Library
Calling all History Detectives! In this exciting class, students work together as a group to investigate world history. They will learn to ask strong questions, find trustworthy sources, take notes like real historians, organize facts, and teach others what they discover.
Each week the group will tackle a new historical mystery, building research skills through collaboration, curiosity, and creativity.

Dear History Detectives,
In the great House of Wisdom where I work, scholars from all over the world come to study. They ask questions, search for answers, and write down what they discover so that others may learn from them.
That is exactly what you will do in this class. You will become History Detectives - a team of investigators who explore the past together, ask strong questions, find trustworthy sources, take careful notes, organize your facts, and teach others what you have found.
Your first mission? Come ready with curiosity and two questions about history. The adventure begins together!

Museum Detectives: Uncovering the Rockies
Grades 3-6 — Museum of the Rockies
Each week, students will explore and dive more deeply into a different element at the Museum of the Rockies. From dinosaur fossils to living history, every visit is a new adventure in discovery.
The last 30 minutes are reserved for independent exploration, giving kids time to follow their own curiosity. Students will also learn museum etiquette and how to get the most out of every museum visit.
